Finally, something to listen to! I’ve actually written music a bit past this opening excerpt, but I decided I needed to give y’all something to listen do.

As I have discussed on “The Coast’s” project home page, this composition has my usual collection of meanings and real-life connections, though it’s not just a bunch of beach and seagull noises. It’s music! This excerpt will help illustrate some of the challenges this project has presented. And what challenges they’ve been! A full orchestra (70-ish players strong!) represents a lot of sounds (and instrumental players) to manage!
