Under the baton of Juan Trigos, musicians from the UK New Music Ensemble began rehearsing my composition Idea’legy this past evening, March 10. It was clear that, despite this being just a “reading,” several of the instrumentalists had already practiced their parts. They have a ways to go, but it was just super listening to my composition come to life! Chris Kim will be a wonderful soloist on the cello!
