Since I have to take breaks from my composing every so often, I took the time to set up the project page for my newest idea. Nothing to listen to yet — I doubt I’ll have anything worthy for several weeks — but the underlying conceptual and musical ideas are there and described on my shiny-new project page. I even have a graphic that reflects the ideas I’m working with!

The title “Re-Fugue” does double duty as a reference to renewable energy (the “program”) and to a syndrome of human personality dysfunction. Click here for the current state of the composition, and a fleshing-out of these ideas. I’ll be adding pages to the project as I go, including references to the works of other composers using the fugue idea.

This is, as always, just loads of fun!
