I’ve been busy! So far the “prelude and fugue” of my new orchestral work has a completed prelude, and a serious go at two sections of the fugue. I’ve also spent some time revamping the project support pages. In typical fashion, I’d seriously obfuscated my way through an analysis of my musical ideas, so went back and split out the more complicated stuff to separate pages. There’s also a page of compositions which served as an inspiration for this piece.

The excerpt I’ve put up on YouTube is about 4 minutes in length, and probably represents about half of the final composition. It kinda wanders off, so is decidedly unfinished. But you can detect a lot of how my ideas have been “made flesh” in music. Listen below, Be sure to visit my updated project pages!
