Several updates to my work here, and I’m so excited to share them with you!

• Variations 2 and 3 have been updated with small changes/improvements. I’ve especially improved #2 (“The Skip”), making it less dense, and dividing up the responsibilities more between the instruments. (I also made it a bit faster! Don’t want those brass players to get bored!)
• Variation #4: “The March” is up! Interestingly, this variation contains the original spark that got this whole composition moving. You can read all about it on that page.
• Variation #5: “The Chase” appears — at least a piece of it, enough to get a sense of which direction I’m going with it. (Click here to go there.) Since it will be the longest and most complex of the pieces of this “theme and variations” puzzle, you probably won’t get much else out of me on it for a bit. I need to go have a life.
• The “Full Composition” has been updated with everything I’ve mentioned above (but, of course, it’s still incomplete). Click here for that.

I also have, once again, signed up to continue my stroll down higher education, with new classes next semester. Did I mention how much fun this is?
